They run @solidarityfarm_school for local students in the area to educate them on science, farming, nutrition, herbology, arts, and cooking!

Thank you, Solidarity Farm, not only for hosting us, but for educating and inspiring the next generation of farmers, culinarians, environmentalists, and healthy food advocates! We hope you enjoy the video and feel inspired to learn more about San Diego’s amazing and diverse local food scene!

2) Fostering relationships between child nutrition service departments and local farmers, including @lakesideunion with @stehlyfarms and Fallbrook Union Elementary School District with @dassifamilyfarm

3) Launching our new Inspiring Local Food Connections grant from @cdfafarmtofork . Dane distributed produce from @foodshedinc to @oceansideunifiedschooldistrict and @fallbrookunionhsd to kick off the grant!

5) Showcasing the essential role of school nutrition heroes as they continue to work tirelessly to nourish our students and communities!

6) Distributing over 2,200 school garden kits to students throughout San Diego County! These kits included seeds, instructions, peat pellets, and swag!
